Hi my name is Patches. I was rescued as a feral kitten, but I am gradually getting accustomed to living inside.
I resocialize neighborhood kittens and cats abandoned due to foreclosures and/or not having anyone to feed and care for them. I am presently socializing six (6) kittens and cats. Ten kittens/cats are already socialized and ready for loving homes. All kittens and cats are inside and must go to homes that will allow them to stay inside the house.

Daddy and Daughter
Predest is the orange cat on the left. He is napping alongside his beautiful long haired daughter, PJ.
PJ is a colorful mixture of black, orange and white. PJ and Predest get along really well. But it's kind of funny watching them wake because they both acted like two strangers. I think they both just startled themselves.

Just Cause You Say It Don't Make It So
Let me clarify a few things. I do not go out and rescue animals, kittens or cats. A neighbor left her cat to fend for itself. The cat came in my back yard and I began feeding her.
After she became pregnant and birthed the kittens in the back yard shed, I picked up her two kittens and brought them in the house because their mom was limping and appeared hurt.
I did not know much about kittens but researched the internet and started bottle feeding the girl and boy.
I did not know that they reproduce so quickly and eventually three kittens turned into eighteen.
I did not go out of my way to save them. They were in the shed and trying to survive on their own.
I called a few expert cat professionals for advice and tried to follow most of their recommendations.
The cat experts recommended the following: ask the neighborhood for help since a neighbor left the kitten, put out flyers asking for help, try to get donations to help with care cost, ask rescuers for help and advice, adoption and call different nonprofit organizations.
I thought maybe I could start a nonprofit, but those dreams and ideas were quickly squashed because that requires a commercial building location. No funds for that.
So I decided to keep and take care of them all since I started this and must see it all the way through.
After reading some very frightening info about some people, I decided against adopting them out. I know it may be selfish, but I doubt if there is anyone in this world that will love and care for my little crew better than me. I do this out of the kindness of my heart.
So don't get it twisted. I am not a rescuer. I have never collected any monetary donations for my kittens and cats from anyone.
Thank you to all the nonprofits that were able and willing to help with food, toys, neuter and spay costs. We appreciate you.
And guess what? All eighteen of my kittens and cats will get neutered and/or spayed. All eighteen will have plenty of food to eat.
So remember, just cause someone assumes something incorrectly, don't get discouraged cause just because they think it, don't make it so.
Sheron and her kitty cat crew are going to do just fine. Peace

Thanks Daffy's Pet Soup Kitchen
Me and my little crew of 18 kittens and cats would like to take this time to send a big special thank you to Melissa of Daffy's Pet Soup Kitchen.
Melissa encouraged me to continue our quest to get all kittens and cats neutered and spayed. I was still afraid after the death of my sweet Ivory from being spayed on March 19, 2014. Melissa reassured me that everything would be alright and helped us by providing traps, food and funds.
Also thank you to all the people that donate to nonprofits. All you donors help make this possible. We love and appreciate you all.

Neuter Time
Well today is a very important day for five rescued kittens. Five of the boys finally have their date with an absolutely excellent organization called "Lifeline" to get neutered. No food or water after midnight. Hopefully getting them into the five separate traps will go smoothly.
But two of the boys just don't like to be picked up. You can rub Barock all day, but picking him up is not one of his favorite things.
Jo Jo will probably be another challenge because sometimes he likes rubs and sometimes not. Jo Jo is just funny like that. And he definitely does not go for you picking him up.
Collar, Jango and Smokey should go in the traps with little to no issues. These three love constant rubs and enjoy being picked up.
All food and water is out of their reach. I had to go have a little talk with Jo Jo and Collar to get them to settle down and quit irritating one another. They seem to do that a lot lately.
All kittens are quiet for now. It should be a pretty exciting and interesting morning, day and night for us all. Avondale Estates, here we come. Stay tuned. More to come.

Patches and Midnight
Patches and Midnight rescued January 2014. Patches is probably a girl since she is the smallest of the litter. Midnight is probably a male and is the largest from a litter of three kittens. Stay tuned for more updates and verification on this assumption, male versus female kittens.

GrandMommy
Trapped and rescued GrandMommy in January 2014, the night before the Powder Springs first snowfall. She lost her home when her owner lost employment and could no longer pay rent. She is pregnant and this is about the fourth or fifth litter from her being outside loose and not spayed. I really did not plan to be an animal rescuer, but it appears to be apart of my caring nature. GrandMommy is in socializing training. GrandMommy says "This is going to take some serious work because I think I love to run free like a bird. So stay tuned, this will be quite an adventure."
